We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Our website uses SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmitted between your browser and our servers. Customer records are stored securely and access is limited to authorized personnel who need the information to perform their job duties.

Cookies & Tracking

This website does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, advertising retargeting tools, or session-recording scripts. Web fonts are self-hosted; map and video embeds, where used, are configured to avoid setting tracking cookies.

Contact form – third-party service provider. Our website contact and consultation request forms are embedded from LeadConnector (HighLevel Inc.), our customer-relationship-management service provider. When you interact with one of these forms, your browser communicates with LeadConnector domains (such as leadconnectorhq.com and msgsndr.com), and the information you submit is processed by LeadConnector on our behalf as a Service Provider under CCPA/CPRA. LeadConnector may set cookies that are necessary for the form to function and to prevent automated abuse. We do not authorize LeadConnector to use that information for its own marketing or to sell or share it. We encourage you to review LeadConnector's privacy policy for additional information about its practices.

The only cookies our own site may set are strictly necessary for core functionality (such as remembering that you have dismissed a banner, or maintaining a form session). These are not used to build a profile of you or to track you across other websites.

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal by default for every visitor, whether or not your browser sends one. If your browser does send GPC, we display a visible “Privacy Respected” indicator. You may also control cookies via your browser settings.

Your Rights (California Residents)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the following rights regarding their personal information:

  • Right to Know, you may request details about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you
  • Right to Delete , you may request that we delete the personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions
  • Right to Opt-Out , you have the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information (note: La Grange Window Coverings does not sell personal information)
  • Right to Non-Discrimination , you will not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your privacy rights
  • Right to Correct , you may request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you
  • Right to Limit , you may request that we limit the use and disclosure of your sensitive personal information

2022 Lookback Right

In accordance with the 2026 expanded CCPA/CPRA lookback mandate, California residents may submit “Requests to Know” that extend back to January 1, 2022. La Grange Window Coverings maintains records sufficient to honor these requests for the full lookback period. To submit a verifiable consumer request, contact us using the information below.

Authorized Agents

Under California Civil Code §1798.140(b) and California Code of Regulations Title 11, §7063, you may use an authorized agent to submit a request to know, request to delete, request to correct, request to opt-out of sale/share, or request to limit the use of sensitive personal information on your behalf.

For us to act on a request submitted through an authorized agent, the agent must provide all of the following:

  • Written, signed authorization from you (the consumer) granting the agent permission to act on your behalf for the specific request; ora power of attorney executed pursuant to the California Probate Code §§4000–4465.
  • Verification of the agent's identity (a copy of valid government-issued photo identification).
  • Verification of your identity directly with us, sufficient to confirm that the personal information we hold relates to you (we may match your request against information we maintain about you).

If the agent submits a power of attorney under California Probate Code §§4000–4465, we may rely on the power of attorney in lieu of the written authorization and consumer-side verification described above.

We will deny a request submitted by an agent that does not include the required proof. We do not charge a fee for processing authorized-agent requests except as permitted by law.

Global Privacy Control (GPC)

Our website automatically detects and honors Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals transmitted by your browser. When a GPC signal is detected, we treat it as a valid opt-out request under the CCPA/CPRA and display a visible “Privacy Respected” confirmation indicator. No additional action is required on your part. La Grange Window Coverings does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Notice at Collection

At or before the point of collection, we inform you of the categories of personal information being collected and the purposes for which it will be used. When you submit a consultation request form, a clear disclosure is presented alongside an affirmative consent mechanism. We do not use “implied consent,” pre-checked boxes, or dark patterns to obtain agreement.

Retention Periods

We retain each category of personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes disclosed in this Privacy Policy, and as required to comply with our legal, accounting, and record-keeping obligations:

  • Consultation requests & lead-form submissions , up to 24 months from your last interaction, after which we delete or de-identify the record unless you have become a customer.
  • Customer order & warranty records , for the longer of (a) the duration of the applicable manufacturer or installation warranty, or (b) seven (7) years after final installation, to satisfy California tax, accounting, and consumer-protection record-keeping requirements.
  • TCPA / SMS consent records , we retain consent timestamps and the exact disclosure shown for at least five (5) years (four-year federal statute of limitations plus a buffer).
  • Email correspondence & service inquiries , up to 36 months, then deleted unless tied to an active order.
  • Sensitive personal information , retained only for as long as needed to perform the requested service or comply with law, and only used for the limited purposes you authorized.
  • Server logs & security telemetry , rotated after 90 days unless retained for active fraud or abuse investigation.

When a retention period ends, we either delete the record or de-identify it so it can no longer reasonably be linked to you. You may at any time submit a Right-to-Delete request to remove personal information we are not otherwise required to retain by law.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We also do not “share” your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CPRA definition. No paid advertising trackers (Meta Pixel, Google Ads conversion, TikTok Pixel) are loaded on this site. If you would still like to submit a formal opt-out request, including for any future changes to our practices, you can:

  • Enable Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser, we automatically treat the signal as a valid opt-out for every visitor.
  • Email info@lagrangewc.com with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.”
  • Call us at (707) 582-1637 and ask to submit a CPRA opt-out request.
